Flashback

Here is a photo of me during my first year (2002) in the Surveying profession. It was my first out of town trip. We were installing panel points for an aerial survey for a sewer line to be built from Page, AZ to the Wahweep Marina on Lake Powell. A panel point is a white target that shows up in aerial photography. Surveyors put coordinates on these targets so that the photos can be geocorrected or orthorectified (related to their true position on the ground). This was also my first time visiting the impressive Lake Powell area. Needless to say, I was very excited to be being paid to be there.
